The market acceptance by these leading wheel brands propelled Classified to launch a Powershift hub only version. The Hub Only solution will be available to be purchased by customers as a standalone product through the certified Classified dealer network. Now, cyclists will have the opportunity to lace the game-changing Powershift technology into the rim of their choice.
“We want the cycling world to be able to ride Powershift and so we decided to remove all limitations and make our revolutionary shifting technology available to all. With the Hub Only solution cyclists have the option to freely incorporate Powershift into their bike setup” said Mathias Plouvier, CEO of Classified. “The Hub Only solution gives cyclists, both professional and amateurs, the ultimate control and freedom to upgrade their existing bikes or build a new one from scratch in the configuration of their choice”
The Powershift Hub kit will include the shifting system, the smart thru axle and the handle bar module. Classified's proprietary one-piece steel cassettes, specifically designed for the Powershift hub, should be purchased separately. They are available in both 11- and 12 speed, ranging from 11-27 to 11-34. The Powershift hub is compatible with most disc brake frames.
In addition to the new partner wheel brands Classified will continue to sell the four proprietary road (R50 and R35) and gravel (G30 and G19) Classified wheelsets through its worldwide network of certified dealers.
You can order your Classified-ready partner wheelset directly from each wheel brand while the Powershift Hub can be purchased as a standalone kit directly from a Classified dealer.
